I've been sifting through my inherited collection of models from my brothers and I've come across a few I can't quite place. I figured the knowledgeable folks of Dakka would be able to help.
I'm pretty sure that the figure on the right is just a really old River Troll, but I'm not 100% sure about it. The one on the left I don't have any solid ideas about.

The one on the right does look like a troll.
The other one reminds me of a Marauder 'savage' orc (GW used to sell their stuff back in the day. They too used slottabases. Many other companies besides GW used to use them).

I have a number of other old Marauder models, but this big fella is on a 40mm base (the ones where you had to punch a hole to put the small peg on whatever appendage is sticking to the ground). Did they every make their savage orcs so large?

Yep, they're both Trolls from the old C20 range. The one that looks like an Orc (left) is actually called Warrior Troll in the '87 Citadel Journal, the other one (right) is a Marsh Troll
Check out the Stuff of Legends page for them, can see them clearly here

Marauder DID have some large orcish models but I've never really been a fantasy player (or greenskin player ever).
'Twas just my opinion. Throw enough mud at the wall and sometimes you get lucky.
Less flash on the closeups would help though.
