Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

Is there any way you could make it more chipped looking?
The ''chips'' look like camouflage...

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

you could try addind a wash to it to dirty the armour plus add another colour again like really light yellow to give it better transition its meant to be a quick easy way for new people to start off

Did you just feedback yourself?

I think the reason this looks more like camo is because the chips are not near the edges of the armor plates, where they would see the most wear and tear. That, I think, detracts a bit.

Still, beautifully painted.

I love the subdued nature of it, seriously.

It looks awesome. Love the muted tones, and I think the chipping looks really nice. How about a nice step-by-step?

Well then, that does look good! as usual beautifully painted mini, and good simple tute for those wanting to know how to do it quickly and easily. if this doesn't make some people tempted to weather there own mini's I don't know what will! :-)

Any time :-) I'm always on the lookout for methods that are not only quick and easy so i don't get bored but also look good and are easy to start if you haven't done many painting techniques! it's all good and well for some great painters to show off their work but it's even nicer when they (like yourself) encorage others to do more by showing them how you achieved your results! well done Bullyboy! a firm clap on the back for you!

OP...looks pretty good.

I think the technique Meph used on his FW SM is great though.

I agree with you about Meph's work it is good but it's a much larger model than what we work with and certain techniques just don't work when you're trying to paint an army for the table or display case at heroic scale! and besides without trying to be rude but it's Bullyboys work and he's done a good job here showing others how he does what he does when he paints his excellent marines!

Very nice....
Any "tips on chips" for black?
I am not happy with my current "just paint some silver or gun metal" on black...
It's for my Templar tanks and was trying Charadon Granite (watered) then Adeptus Battle gray then gun metal for the bare metal but I'm not getting that 3D look that I want.

For The Greater Good….. says who?

agreed, grays are going to look better, more real on the black than mettalic. Also great job on the mini by the OP, someone mentioned it looked like camo, I noticed all the chips are roughly the same size, this might contribute.

1st post by the way! WOOT
