As I mentioned in another thread, I'm sort of rewriting the 40K rules. I would like to ask what changes to the basic game mechanics you would like to see: I already have:
- a new turn sequence (where players use their units alternatingly, rather than their armies)
- Armour save modifiers instead of AP
- BS modifiers for shooting at longer or shorter ranges
- a "move" characteristic
- Overwatch
- an attempt to integrate vehicle damage with the normal system (with different armour saves in different arcs to represent different armour values).
Like it? Maybe not? Any ideas?
