hey hey dakkaites I have two different 1850 lists I'm looking at running for a upcoming tournament. I'm looking for C and C on both lists as well as which I should run. I'm new to the tournament scene and the local metagame is full of power armor with few xenos players

List A

Hive Tyrant- LW/BS and ST Hive commander Leech essence and Paroxysm
2- Tyrant Guard

Both lists I'm thinking already to add another Tervigon but I'm just not sure what to remove to squeeze those in. but like i said any help would be apreciated.

In the first list I would just drop a trygon and take a tervigon. I have never had any luck with trygons doing anything except getting shot to pieces. In the second list you can drop the mawloc for the tervigon. Trygons and Mawlocs have never done anything for me except get shot to pieces. Maybe I'm just unlucky but I feel the 170-195 pts is better spent on a tervigon.

In either list, you may want to drop a zoanthrope and take a spod for the other 2. It gives them much more maneuverability.


2 tervigons with catalyst, ag, and ts is the way to go imo. Those little gants really start to pack a punch then. And FnP is pretty much essential in any army.

Just some thoughts.

Prefer list 1 of the 2 shown.

List one but you will need another Tervigon.
