For a local tourney i'm considering bringing a BA list without any vehicles. I usually play a razor-mech list but want to try something different.
I have played 'pure' DoA before, but find the lack of long range support to be quite crippling.

So here is what I was thinking about :

I know the 2x libby 'fits in' better (prolly with Shield of S & Unleash Wrath [or one with blood lance, not sure] but find it most reassuring to have Meph to cover my back. Without a beast like meph, i fear i might fall short against big ugly things on a rampage through my lines (such as daemon princes, nid nasties etc ) Sure, i'm hoping to get the drop on those by dev shooting and if need be some honor guard plasma punishment, but should they reach melee, things could get really ugly really soon without a proper answer.

I go for 2x priest instead of one so that if i face a shooty opponent, one of them can babysit my dev squads in cover to give them a fighting chance.
The techmarine is a cheap DS unit that can fortify the rubble i hope to stick some of my dev's in.

What do you guys think ? decent list ? go with meph or the lesser libbies ? and if so, wrath or lance ?

I'd take the two Librarians and Mephiston cannot deep strike.

Honour Guard won't need the melta bombs as they cannot assault after with plasmas though I guess that's a point filler.

Devs should have all the same weapons, though they do not go in a DoA list because they will get shot at first turn. They go in a jump list.
