ok guys ( and possibly gals(?)

i was thinking of trying to make a new chapter inspired by stuff like;
imperial fists
sanguine guard from blood angels
deathwing
inquisition
and all sortsa crud like that

anyways it would be nice if you guys would help me figure out how to structure and army like this, any help is appreciated

You've named some extremely varied subjects there. It sounds like you're trying to mash loads of cool things together. I can't really see it working.

How about picking 1 simple theme that you really like, say space marines that are really proud and noble, or which have a slightly tainted side, and working on that. Once you have some basics down for an army you can think about adding some interesting characters (inquisitors?) or special units to deepen the fluff.
