The ravens talons give Shrike the rending rule on his CC attaks but thair power weps any way so what's the differance apart from thair master crafted

Rending means:

Rolling a 6 will automatically cause a wound, Shrike is only S4 so he wouldn't normally be able to wound anything that is T8 or higher.

Rolling a 6 when rolling for armour penetration against vehicles allows for an extra D3 to be rolled, and added to the total score.
