Nicely done. Should help a fair few folks spice up their terrain.

Its all in the details, man. Great work. One thing I'd suggest is keeping your text on a different layer from the background - then playing with opacity and layer blending options for your "text layer". It fades it so your text will look as old as the paper its printed on.

I didn't even think about fading the text layer, and is hould have one or two more proaganda style posters up at the end of this weekend. I was lazy on the "Emperor Jungen" one, but i thought the title was cool. If anyone wants to use it on they're terrain DO IT, just if at all possible shot me some pics of it.

Looks Great!

For filler text (not font, but yadda yadda content) look up "Lorem Ipsum". It's a pseudo language text made up years ago for DTP operators to use as dummy text for rough layouts. It's very latin like. Here's a sample:

Nice work! These would go very nice on a few terrain pieces I have. Thank you very much.

This also reminds me, does anyone remember the Tau propaganda posters that someone put up a few years ago? Those were pretty nice too.

I love this stuff.

Just *please* *please* *please* avoid the "Take World War 1/2 stuff, cut and paste in "Emperor"" trap that so many fall into.

It's all been done before, it's rarely done well, and the aesthetics is invariably all-sorts messed up.

On a lighter note.............. Do you have any Templar idea's for those?

Technically, I think that would be a darker note, lol! I'll look up some Templars stuff and see what I can do, not a huge fan of theirs.

Hey, you want a job in PsyOp? We're hiring....
In all reality (not that I'm not serious), have you ever thought about doing an IG "Surrender" leaflet? I really want to do a diorama of a Valkyrie doing a leaflet drop, but of course in typical Imperial style the leaflets would say something along the lines of "Lay Down Your Arms and You Will Be Granted a Quick Death".

I'll look into doing the leaflets after midterms this week : (, do you want them to be like purity seal sized of something bigger?

As far as scaling down, once I make one or two more posters i'll make a printable sheet with the best ones i've made, like what GW did with theirs.

I would probably use them as something that would be handbil sized, so it's somewhat readable, so not true leaflets. That is pretty awesome either way, though.

These are posters and newspapers I made in PhotoShop about three years ago for post-apocalyptic gaming. Some may be useful for 40K.
The occasional newspaper or food wrapper made for a interesting bit on mini bases.

Don't let the blurry image discourage you--When downloaded and printed, the posters will be in correct 28mm scale size and in high resolution.

Here's some of ours.

Some signs, leaflets and posters:

I made my own version of skull and crossbones on this one to represent Xenos activity.

SM propaganda poster against traitor guards and heretics.

Another warning poster.

I know this poster has been done and redone many times, but hey I think it looks cool.

A while back we did a studio photoshoot with my friend for some product contest thingie. It didn't pan out well but hey, they will serve well as WW1/WW2 style propaganda billboards/posters/flyers without copyright infringement! Huzzah! Albeit they don't fit the grim dark setting well (because who would use pin-up girls in 40k?), but what the hell.

Poster:

And the billboards:
