Hi folks, finally Studio Mcvey released the metal versions of their Limited edition resin miniatures for Sedition Wars...

Their announcement

I've just added the first seven metal Vanguard miniatures to the Studio Store.

Even though these miniatures have been available (as resin castings) for quite a while now, this feels like the real launch of Sedition Wars, so it's quite exciting. The casting quality is really nice - with very little deformation in the mould. I'll post some pictures of the castings soon.

Cheers!

mike

I checked the prices and they very competitive... Infinity just has a new scifi competitor both in quality and prices.

Maybe so, but they've got a LONG way to go to catch up to INFINITY!

What's with this competition thing? I'm buying from both ranges!

I hope McVey's miniatures are 28mm and compatible with Infinity. By "compatible" I mean seemingly fitting in.

The resins are just awesome, really nicely cast (I have a bunch of the individual sculpts). So I am intreagued as to how good the metals are. I feel another Necromunda gang coming on, and that makes me a happy bunny.

Mcvey is incredibly good at getting beauty into his female faces, apart from that they are pretty 'Meh' for me. Not a fan of Anime style tech, tau are about the most anime i go. Hope it is okay to crit the models on this kind of thread. Thanks for sharing Navarro.

Hey, it's fair enough if you don't like them, everyone is entitled to their opinion

Personally, I don't think that Studio McVeys miniatures are even remotely Anime style.....I think these wull fit in superbly with infinity's range, and certainly I look forward to spending some ££ on those metals.

I'm not sure why we have to go down the competition road at this stage, the SV miniatures are lovely, but they don't have a gaming system (yet) and nothing like the range or variety currently available from Corvus Belli.

I intend to support both ranges, because they both deserve it!

I support Infinity, Mercs and now Sedition wars... I'm not personally going Competition route with any company but I do want them to compete between themselves for better faster and more goodlooking miniatures...
I ask you this if Infinity metals were not 7 euro mark do you think Sedition would call on those prices if there was no competition on the field?

Competition beetwen companies is good for us and Im here to buy from them all

Corpsman Morgan Vade? Think I found my Marbo stand in!

Love the look of these figures and I have a few of the other resin sculpts from Stuido McVey. Time to buy some more stuff to paint.
