Right so I have decided to buy either one of these next month
I am looking at Battlefoam 432 and Sabol Army Transport mark 2
So which does Dakka reccomends?
1. I am looking for portability the most, I must be able to carry this in flight and airport without looking like i am backpacking cross country, I also uses public transport to get to my GW
2.It must fit 2 of army (well i notice these two does anyway), which one would actually fit more stuff in?
3.Bonus if it can somehow carry a 13'3 laptop with it ( my personal dream case) , or well at least my Galaxy Tab
The battlefoam is more expensive by quite a margin(it is nearly twice as expensive) , but if it's that much better than Sabol I think I can make the investment

Do you like paying more to get more out of your case and dealing with a company with great customer service? Go Battlefoam
Do you like paying (much) less to store less but having essentially ready access to cheap, new foam if you screw up and a company who takes months to even answer an e-mail? Go Sabol
I personally own both, and will be purchasing another 720 for my new Goblin army once I figure out what I need.
I like my Sabol because (as far as I'm concerned) it's expendable. I don;t care if it gets wet, or dropped, and when I no longer own the army it houses (which will be soon), I will just give it away.
I like my Battlefoam because it really is the be-all-end-all of miniature storage. I actually go out of my way to try and not bang it into things, or to keep it under a table while gaming so nobody trips on it, not because I feel it will do damage to the bag (the thing is honestly sturdy as all get out), but because I feel that it is an investment, rather than just something to carry crap around in. I also like my Battlefoam because I had issues with the gluing of my initial foam order, and Romeo and co. went above and beyond to ensure that I walked away happy.
Be prepared to answer a LOT of questions on your new bag if you're the first Battlefoam owner in your area, though. Also be prepared to get funny looks when you tell them how much it cost.

Simply put: you can fit more into one tray of Battlefoam than you can Sabol. Also, Battlefoam foam is ( IMO) higher quality and better constructed

I've owned the Sabol Armytransport II and platoon, and currently own the Battlefoam 720 and Armytransport Motor Pool.
Most compact would be the Motor Pool. Its large but slim, which makes it nice to carry and not overly bulky, but I only say this due to the extra protection that the 720 offers. Its honestly built like a tank.

Battlefoam products are top notch, their customer service is great. I intend on purchasing Battlefoam for every one of my armies.

Simple answer is if you have the money, buy Battlefoam. If you are on a budget, or an infrequent gamer, get Sabol.
BF are durable, and worth every penny.
My Sabol are slightly less durable. But cost less.

I have Sabol transports now - but that's before I really looked into transporting my army seriously.
I will be purchasing Battlefoam from here on out. It's much higher quality and though more expensive, everyone I know who has it speaks very highly of it.
We've heard it all before - you're going to spend a small fortune on miniatures and a hours of your life painting - you're going to want to spend a little more to protect that investment.

Most Battlefoam owners seem quite happy. The rest of us can't afford to take the plunge. I'll probably get one soon-ish, myself.

Battlefoam is very nice, but very expensive. There are several purveyors of Sabol who offered the product at a discount. The Warstore being the one I know of. Battlefoam pre-cut trays are expensive and you can't modify them as the army grows. Their pluck foam is good stuff, but also pretty expensive. If you want to have an army to put in your case, get Sabol.

I have nothing against the Sabol bags, however in this regard, you get what you pay for... The Battlefoam bag and custom foam are awesome and worth every penny.
To share a quick customer service story: I called up and ordered a 720 case for my Space Wolves and was worried that my Landraider wouldn't fit, because I have a guy sticking out the top with a Frost Axe. Rick at Battle Foam actually took the time to check the height of the tray with his own Landraider to make sure my model would fit. From then on, I was hooked not just by the product, but the service I received.
Since that time, I've also bought a 432 bag and custom foam to carry my Dwarf army.
Considering the cost we have to spend on models these days, you might as well spend the money on a good case to keep them in.

You can modify sabol foam tray?I already have the army , i am just well tired of caring them in a plastic lock&lock box, would the case and foam quality differ much? which one is more comfortable to carry?
Although i would prefer a nice hard cases, it seems that none of them seem to fit my requirement, be reminded i also travel alot using public transport and airplane.
However this shouldn't be the measuring stick of my economy, I don't own a car because I don't want to, I am also an international student so i went home alot carrying this cases
it seems that the internet seem to either hate Battlefoam or love it, vice versa with Sabol

Battlefoam trayz are great stuff. I own both, and if i ever buy another sabol sized tray from my armies already in sabol cases it will be from battlefoam. sabol is less expensive per unit surface area but you are not going to be able to cut it fine enough to fit near as much in. the price difference is not much at all, certainly little enough so I will let battle foam do the cutting.
Those friggin bag costs are just over the top for my uses though. dont see me doing it.
a Sabol bag will be easier to transport on a bus. esp one of the tall ones. i would stuff it with battlefoam trays cut in sabol size, however.

I've never had a problem with the Battlefoam pluck foam trays having sticky glue residue that rips glue off my models like Sabol trays, either. That right there was reason enough to switch and is more than worth the extra cost.

What it comes down to for you is are there any Vendors for Either in Auz?
You will get hit with crazy shipping and customs, ordering either...
I have both in many different sizes ,and for my IG ,Reaver titan, Thunderhawk, and Deathwing there are all in Battlefoam
My Raven wing , regular DA, and Tau are in Sable cases...
I'm going to eventually switch every thing over to Battle foam, since I've very happy with the quality....

As a commission painter who never keeps armies around for a long time, I use Sobol, I have the Mark II and it's great.
With Sobol's pluck trays I can carry alomost any model. But Battlefoam is more army specific and you can't rearrage it.
However I've seen the Battlefoam stuff and it's much higher quality. So if you want quaility and customer service, go Battlefoeam, if you want versitility but less quaily, I'd say Sobol.

I had so much Sabol before BF came out, there was no reason to get any more.
as i add more stuff, i'm looking at adding another case. but to be honest, price is
an issue for me. Sabol may not be as good as BF, but isn't the worst in the world.

I have owned cases from both. The problem with Sabol is that I hate their pluck foam. It's almost always poorly made, and most of the time you not only get the square you wanted, but the 3 or 4 around it as well. That said, for ease of carry, they're really top notch.
As for Battlefoam, love the two cases I have purchased, but I do have complaints. The 720 is far too bulky to take on a plane as carry on, and the 432 is too small for my entire army. Really the 720 is pretty bulky for fitting into my car trunk. Their standard trays being the size they are it's kind of prohibitive for compact carrying.
My ideal case is one that carries stacked upright foam (like Sabol cases), but is about 1.5 times the size of their standard case. I need about 16 inches of space to carry my army in Sabol size foam, and Sabol Size I've found to be perfect for fitting in a car, on a bus, or on a plane. Battlefoam's Warmachine Case is about the closest I've come to my ideal (It's a little wider but that takes away from needing extra space in height), but I'd want something without the game specific logos.

I would have to say that Warmachine bag seem to be very nice in that regard, and I know i can get it empty, but the same as you I would prefer to get it without any game markings...
I wouldn't know what kind of flack i would get carrying WM case to a GW shop, and don't want to risk it
How large is your entire army? My Army is quite small i suppose
it's 30 Terminator and some 45 odd Assault marine
But i would like the ability to expand my collection beyond what i have (Transports)
hence my choice in 432 pack (My army can Share LR and Rhino, they are going to be painted in a neutral colour of somekind)

The number of models isn't my issue. It's the fact that I have 5 Drop Pods, with plans to add 2 more, and even on their sides that is 4" of space no matter what type of bag. Now, Battlefoam does offer the 5 Pod Tray, but in the smaller size case (that would be perfect otherwise), that would only leave me 3.5 inches to fill the rest of the army (2 Rhino's, 5+ Dreadnoughts, and a bunch of both basic infantry as well as a handful of Terminators).
I can't be the only one that loves their drop pods but also wants a more compact way of carrying their army. Even if Battlefoam were to produce a new XL version of the 432 (or a new bag between the 432 and the 720), with an extra 1.5 inches it'd likely be the perfect sized transport for a lot of people in a similar situation.
My advice is to build out your plan on their custom tray creator, figure out the size of trays you'll need for everything, and purchase your bag off your plan. BF has both Sabol Size, and their own sizes on there, so you should be set either way you go.

but Battlefoam bags are a bit larger than Sabol isn't it?

Both Battlefoam and Outrider Hobbies make custom Sabol size trays.
I've bought foam from both (to put into a Portable Warfare bag). Always bought custom cut. Both have given me accurate cutting.
Battlefoam's turn around time was about 5 weeks, and the trays were not uniform size. some were slightly larger, or had a bit of a lip which causes an issue fitting into the bag.
Outrider's turn around was about 2 weeks, trays were uniform size, no lip, and the cut out foam was placed back into the tray. (Which helps with stability when there isn't a model there.
For full discloser, Bryan Wade (Outrider Hobbies) is a customer of mine.

I think the near unanimous consent is that, yes, Battlefoam is worth the price if you actually need to move an army in one bag. I have a 1520 and love it. I have sabol as well, and I like it, but it holds far less.
It sounds like your problem might be simply needing a lot of bag for your army, and even the battlefoam may not fit it all.

Either way, I think your question has been answered to the best of our ability.
Battlefoam is worth it if you want to actually travel with a bag. Sabol is nice, but not as secure, a lot fiddlier to work with, and doesn't hold nearly as much.
If you fly or take a bus, I'd buy battlefoam.
