So with the new greyknights i'm sure people will be running monkey lists if not just for fun. As it appears gw has 1 model, likely a blister has anyone found other suitable models for the Jokaero Weaponsmith? I have found a few by reaper but they are much larger then a 20mm model. I found a few plastic monkeys that seemed okay. Wondering what anyone else has found?

Hilarious and fits the description of a Jokaero quite nicely.

You could make a younger one from the monkey that comes with the Empire Handgunners. I like that model though, it's weird to think of the Imperium having xenos models.

You can mount lascannons on their backs or w/e weapons you want. Only $5 per monkey too

Are the the Jokaero Weaponsmiths explicitly monkeys, or do apes etc also fit the description?

If you can make greenstuff fur, then adding fur to an ork/orc would seem an easy option. Hmm, 'furry' goblins might make good monkeys too...

Exactly, and it has nothing to do with the size of the creature as many would think. It is purely if it has a tail or not. Monkeys have tails, apes do not. Simple as that. Chimps are not monkeys like many people say they are as they have no tail.

Technically, apes and monkeys are from Terran stock, so they wouldn't be xenos.

Yeh that is one of the reaper models I have seen. For following fluff, they don't actually have guns. They have digital weapons of the lascannon/multi melta, heavy flamer.

I am doing a trial run of this and so far it is working really well.

all you need to do is put the body on the legs back to fron and make a neck out of green stuff

I will upload pics off them all when I'm done because I want to have 3 units of 12.

Im gonna make them all out of orks because i have a load that I dont use any more.
