Just saw this on their catalog for $5:

Army grey plastic Bradley style fighting vehicle. Measures 7 1/2", 4 1/2" wide, and 3 1/2" tall. With rotating turret, main gun elevates and other weapons (machineguns/grenade launcher) rotate. With 3 hatches in front, side, and rear that open to unload army troops. Nicely molded details. Bonus includes an assortment of 1 3/4" green or tan soldiers. This is a really nice vehicle that would work in a variety of modern battles!

Hmmm-Hmmm! Lots of possibilities!

be sure to check out the accessories. I bought several pacakages of this fencing, and it can be cut in half lengthwise to make railings for buildings. For a buck a set, you can't go wrong. Disclosure: I have nothing to do with this company. Just FYI.

These $1 bridges will be perfect for catwalks for buildings. Or you can cut the railings off for other terrain projects.

I had one of those as a kid! that's pretty awesome. Also, this was one of those where the hatches folded out with more weapons, so as far as I can remember there should be three more turrets on the inside you can use.

That bridge is great. Ive been looking for some cheap bridges.

For those interested, its 8" long x 2 3/4" wide. Good size for foot troops in 28mm games. Perfect size for 15mm or 6mm vehicles.

Here's a update on my "Taurus" (Nicked-named "Ox", by the Guardsmen). I'm customizing it to serve as a combat engineer, supply, and repair vehicle. I scratched-built a winch on the front, placed a crane on the rear, and glued lego grills on the headlights. I'm thinking to put a hull mounted Heavy Bolter to the right of the Imperium icon, If I can pick one up on eBay----And a smoke discharger as well.

good find but i think it reminds me more of a salamander than a taurus.

The Salamander main mission is to serve as a recon/gun carrier. The idea behind the Taurus is it's ability to carry heavy cargo and serve as mobile maintenance & repair shop--Hence it's similarity to it's namesake the ox that hauled wagons and pulled plows on farms.

Combat engineers use them to carry their tools, bridging equipment, demolitions, assault gear, etc. that otherwise would not fit in an enclosed APC, or in a small compartment like the Salamander. It's not really designed to be a offensive fighting vehicle, 'cause it does not have enough firepower, which is sacrificed for cargo/passenger space. It does however has the same armor value to protect it's crew and passengers in a combat environment.

Insanely cool find. Very cool to find these sold by the piece. You'd be amazed at what you can get from those cheapy toy soldier kits at the dollar store, grocery stores and at the pharmacy.

Also, this http://www.toysoldiersdepot.com/store.php?seller=thedustyloft&navt1=33068&pd=187753 M3 Lee kit is perfect to be Orkified as a Battlewagon. Converted one of these Monogram kits for my wife's Deathskulls and made it into a half-track. Got my kit for free, but this one is only 9 bucks. It's measurements are 3.5 inches wide by 7 inches long. Can't beat it.

Thanks for the find!
