1. Is the black or the blue weapon shielding the best?
2. Any ideas on how to make the tank blue/black pattern better (I was thinking putting blue on the front ramp and the top ramp).

Looks to me like you have a good color contrast ratio. Too much more blue and it will look washed out. But paint it to what you like.

So no preference to black or blue gun shielding, personally I prefer the blue, but was wanting a second oppinion.

I vote blue.

Blue but I'd put some form of marking on there to break it up (maybe black lines or skulls for kill markings?)

So put the tally number of the LR or somthing similar on the weapon shieldings, keepingthem blue?

Sorry, I only looked closely at the first pic. I think the first has a good amount of each color. I think the second has a little too much blue (but then I am partial to black). I like the shielding black. Then possibly the markings like noted above.
