So a friend is getting into the game with some of my old Tyranid models. He's looking to paint them in an arctic scheme; white bodies, icy blue shell/armor/carapace, unsure on the little internal bits like the joints.

Any ideas on the best way to go about achieving this effect? Maybe mix a minute amount of blue in with the white to make it a colder white? Edge the blue with anything in particular? Ideas on 'internal' parts' color? Suggestions for a good shade of blue to use?
