Okay, so I should have posted this *MUCH* earlier...but oh well.

AS with last year, if you're planning on attending Adepticon and you own a camera, we want to host your pictures of the convention here in the Dakka Gallery, which is absolutely free of charge to all members of Dakka.

Last year users uploaded 500+ pics of Adepticon to the Dakka Gallery, and I'd love to top that this year!

And it couldn't be easier! All you have to do when you return from Adepticon is to take the pictures off your camera and upload them using the Dakka Gallery uploader. Choose the option that they are a group of 'closely related' images and then give them all the tag 'Adepticon 2011'.

This will automatically put all Adepticon 2011 images into a single group that can be easily found by anyone visiting Dakka and help make it the place to come for those searching the internet for Adepticon 2011 images. Adding additional tags to your images will help them be better searched and sorted in general, but at the very least all you need to do is give them the 'Adepticon 2011' tag.

Thanks in advance to everyone who participates in this effort, and if you have any questions regarding the process of uploading your images or 'tagging' them please post your question in this thread.

Dude, I kept walking by the Forgeworld booth all weekend (drooling over the new eldar stuff) but in the back of my mind thinking, "I feel like I should buy a boarding marine and I don't know why....."

My game one on Friday ended early, so I went and stood in the FW line for over 40min to get a boarding marine for a friend, and a CD hellsmith for another friend. I gave up about 60% of the way through the line, when I heard they had already sold out of the boarding marine anyway. Those suckers were sold out EARLY. I did submit an order form and pay so they can mail them to me, though.
