I was at warhammer world for the schools league, and Wayde Price was giving us a talk about the new Grey Knights. In this, he mentioned other parts of the inquisition, including the sisters of battle; who he said will be updated later this year!

I wonder if they have a schedule of releases, or if they just do things when they're done, no deadlines, release policy, nothing. A Hobby Business, run like a Hobby.

I have a feeling (and this is speculation) that this update will be of the PDF codex update kind.
Unless Jes really kicked it into high gear, last we heard there were problems with the plastics.
Or that sneaky git tricked us.
Who knows?

All i know is that they will have a 'proper' published codex and nought else. However I would expect to see some new plastics.

A release of Sisters of Battle/Witch Hunters without new plastic Sisters would be highly unlikely, or very very stupid.

So your saying it is about 50./50 then given we are talking about GW?
I guess i should add that if the codex is Ecclessiarchy focused and allows you some way to field throngs of zealots, fanatics, redemptionists, priests, fraternis militia and other assorted robed religious crazies then that would be tempting as well (and give me an official way to use the butt loads of such models I have)

THE thing they HAVE to have is an amazing comical cannon fodder plastic kit like flagellants but in 40k, all whipped on by some crazy Ecclessiarch priest carried on an Ogryns back.

i thought about trading/selling off all my such figs (despite how much I love them), but I know as soon as i do they will release a codex that allows for them again and I'll be pissed...
Besides I hope to play some Necromunda again at some point: I could field about twelve full sized gangs of Cawdor/Redemptionists...

At the very least, it would shut up the people who complain that the force was being squatted
"Oh, you wanted it right now? But we don't have the plastics ready...so here's your book, instead. Enjoy?"

I would fully approve of them doing this once every 3 months until all the codexes are finished. We can call it the 'Kanluwen- Just Shut up Already' strategy. One codex every 3 months with releases as they finish them for new minis on any army they feel like. It would be CHAOS! Awesome chaos though.

Actually I would take a balanced codex designed for 5th edition. The current one is terrible for dealing with certain armies especailly at low point levels. It has so many holes in it you can drive a Land Raider through them. Remember we only know that they were having trouble with the Sisters. Nothing says they couldn't release the book with the Ecclesiarchy models along with a new Exorcist kit and some other vehicle or two as currently the Ecclelsiarchy has 3 models (2 priests and an old special character) and 3 vehicles (Immolator, Rhino, and Exorcist). I'm not holding my breath though by any stretch.
