Hi. I do a lot of things for E-bay mostly 40k. Many of the units I am unfamiliar with. So when assembeling troops how important are the weapons I give them. Example. is a Plasma gun ok just cuz it looks cool or do people really care how they are armed? Thanks. Mr.Jody

Plasguns are entirely dependent on the unit they're attached to, and the player behind them. Personally, I love 'em, but in the new world of mech' infantry, melta, it would seem, is king, and, until 6th comes around, will stay there for a while.

I, for one, am a big proponent of the "rule of cool", when not playing in a competitive setting, and, as such, will field awesome-looking models despite any wonky craziness that they might cause... up to and including the "Big Daddy" dread in my CSM army. If it looks good, chances are people will buy it, even if it doesn't see the tabletop.

Things I've gotten other players to admit...

Thanks Dronze! I kinda feel the same way. Just make it look cool and then arm them in your list however ya want. Thanks again. Mr.Jody.

You should magnetize the arms on models that can take different weapons so that you can save money in the long run.
