Doing a theme army for my tau, from one of my favorite shows when I was a kid. There is no grey ink but I find a drop of adeptus battlegrey to about 50 drops of water gives a nice runny inkey grey that fills in the gaps, as well as tones down the white primer to a murky dirty white, which can also just be highlighted by straight white. I linked my inspirations in my previous thread as well as where I got the conversion idea, so unless theres a request leaving it out.
This is the most I have painted in a few short days, and the simple colorscheme that looks good with minimal work is motivating me to actually finish an army. Again not tournament quality, but I have a bunch of "tourney quality" paintjobs in my other armies that discourage me from finishing them, so nuts to that. I have a broadside and 10 more fire warriors in my collection, after that its time to buy some more models.
