So this is a kill team assault marine on a custom laser-engraved 40mm base. Laser cut masking tape was used to create a spray mask for airbrushing. The marine was painted by my friend a few years back and thought it deserved dragging out the box of old minis.

Interesting method, laser cutting the mask to stencil the base. Since you seem to have access to a cutter, have you considered using something like rubber or vinyl to make reusable stencils?

It looks cool, but it seems like you have a little too much free space on the base. It looks great, but the marine seems a little too far back.
