This is a bit of a silly idea for a Chaos Space Marine 1750 list:

Daemon Prince (Wings, Mark of Slaanesh, Lash) 155
Daemon Prince (Wings, Mark of Slaanesh, Lash) 155

Chaos Dread (2x CCW) 100
Chaos Dread (2x CCW) 100
Chaos Dread (2x CCW) 100

Chaos Space Marines x10 (Aspiring Champion: Melta Bombs, 2x Melta Guns) 190
Chaos Space Marines x10 (Aspiring Champion: Melta Bombs, 2x Melta Guns) 190
Chaos Space Marines x5 (Aspiring Champion: Melta Bombs, Melta Gun) 105
3x Rhino 105

Defiler 150
Defiler 150
Defiler 150 (all have at least one CCW, possibly 2 each)

Greater Summoned Daemon 100
1750/1750

Wouldn't expect this to be very competitive, but would be quite funny, having 6 Walkers and 2 Daemon Princes running across the board, Lashing things towards them hopefully. And a Summoned Daemon will drop down and add to the carnage, and has three potential outlets, so hopefully positioning should work out. the 5 Marines would probably never/rarely get out of the Rhino, maybe even stay in reserve in certain missions to try and grab an objective. As i said, not very competitive, but if most of it makes it into combat, its going to do a lot of damage. (Oh also, If a Dread/Defiler uses Smoke, can it run? I immagine not, but have never come across this before).
Troops could be different, but i suddenly had the idea while working options out, to add a Greater Daemon for extra fun. Originally had 3x 6 Noise Marines with Sonic Blasters, 3 Rhinos, 5 Raptors. Also 3 squads of Plagues with Meltas or Plasma would work. Can't quite fit 3 squads of Zerkers, although they would be nice, and would keep the list all CC orientated.

my thoughts on your list.

I would drop the Dreads, to unpredictable. the dreads still come with twin-linked bolters on their cc weapons, and will still hold ground and shoot. perhaps use the points to convert your troops into plague marines (T5 FNP, annoying to dislodge them), parhaps throwing in a powerfist into the squads. or a terminator squad. either option is harder to kill.

I would trade in one of your Defilers for a possesed Vindicator, better pie plate and kills termies, and artificer armor.

Also, trade in another Defiler for 2 Oblitirators. harder to kill then a defiler.

Rogders, don't listen to Igenstilch, I fear he's missed the point of the list.

I've messed around with Chaoszilla, and it can be great fun. The list looks fine, but I prefer Zerkers for my dudemens to keep with the theme of "run forward and smash stuff". For Defilers, I usually run them with 4 DCCWs.

the 6 dread and 3 MC construct for CSM works quite well. I have used it with a lot of success for two years now. Learn to play it, and its a solid CSM build.

Yeah i think Igenstilch has missed the point of this list. Not being rude or anything, but i do know how to write a competitive Chaos list, and if i wanted one, i would just go and buy 9 Obliterators But on your advice, you seem to want 3 different Heavy supports. Chaos Heavys, as much if not more than other Heavy supports want 2 or 3 of each thing, 3 different things, although nice and all do their jobs well, doesn't seem to work very well.

Thanks for the comments odorofdeath and extrem(54). Really giving me confidence to go and try this list out. I've wanted an excuse to start Chaos (My favourite army) again, after I stupidly sold all 6000+ points, instead of just waiting until i wanted to play them again a couple of months later And this list seems like a good excuse to start playing them again, especially if it can win

I'm not saying you did. But the whole point of this list, is it has 6 Walkers and 2/3 Daemons. So taking out the Dreads and two Defilers kind of ruins the whole point of the list. Your advice on Plagues is possibly right though, would have to try out the different troop options, see which work best.

Monster Mash for the win!

Although I've always found that the big guys need some little guy help to win combats, or quickly break through hordes. It sucks to have a dreadnought stuck fighting 10+ fearless guys for example, that combat will go on for 2-3 turns even if you're winning.

That's why I run berzerkers in my Rhinos, to break the big guys out of a big combat jam in a jiffy. With combi-meltas on the rhinos and the Defilers firing battlecannons every turn, I've found you don't need anything else really. Your worst matchups will be mechanized IG.

Heavy flamers on the dreads help also, I have run the list with a ton of enjoyment. It's fun when you start pulling CSM dreads out and your opponent says you cant be serious.

I would go with 2 CCWs on all Defilers. Without the Battle Cannon shooting with them seems kinda moot, whereas they can do horrific damage if you charge them into battle.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
