Hi Dakka - I have completed the rough make-up for a Knight Titan using the new Dreadknight kit and various other bitz. I'm in the process of smoothing over all of the lettering and filling in holes with guitar wire/grey stuff, but I hope it portrays the general idea I was going for. Anyway, C&C welcome for I plan on making more of these.

I don't think the pilot pod is blocky enough to be IoM, and the gun on the top may be a bit much, but lose those and I think it would look great.

EDIT: I mean the top missle pods, not the gun.

Doesn't look like any knight titan loadout that I have ever seen.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

I'll be honest, it doesn't really look like a Knight Titan to me.

However, it looks fething badass. Great conversion.

I remember, Knights were sized between dreadnoughts and titans. This works!

Dragons fear nothing, if it acts up, we breath magic fire that turns them into marshmallow peeps. We leaguers only cry rivets!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I agree that it does not have the loadout of the Knight Titans in the HH book currently, but I did magnetize the under arm missile pods so I could switch them out as necessary (something I should have done to the shoulder weaponry in hindsight....). I agree the gatling gun on top is a bit much and it will be something I avoid in future works. I should be done with sculpting/wiring soon and I hope to have pics up before I try to paint this guy. Now to decide on a paint scheme...

I have wondered about the possibility of using this kit for Knights - it does seem about the right size, but I think yours looks quite a bit more Mechwarrior than the 40k Knights we're used to - think more rivets and skulls. And I saw some great 'head' units constructed usins sentinel cockpits...

Oh, and before I forget, just one more thing...

THERES NO SUCH THING AS A 'KNIGHT TITAN' - KNIGHTS ARE KNIGHTS. TITANS ARE TITANS. THEY'RE DIFFERENT!

Ahem... sorry about that.

Nice knight titan! though I think a sentinal cockpit would look better, the curved one fits pretty well for a dreadknight

Good solid conversion, the things that trouble me are the obvious magnets on the fists and the undersized base.

Other than that /thumbsup
