Well i say this is a fluffy army and it is a little however its designed around countering Tank heavy armies like razor spam. And should be highly competitive. I've played in high ends 40k before but not this edition. and only now building up an army.

I've play tested it vs BA and it's working fine. IF Deepstrike is on my side it's brilliant at stopping a mass drive. Bringing the daemons at the right time is key for me either as a roadblock or a tank (vindicators/whrilwinds etc) killer unit. both defilers will act as a kind of unit. Either against real heavy pushes in the line with the DP as a almighty counter or flanking and harassing with battlecannons. Obliterators and Terminators are there the DS on back armour as you probably guessed. Also the rapid fire rhino dump from Plagues is ungodly good. They take charges like a champ afterwards too. Rhinos have havocs gives a nice extra long range blast v horde armies and can get that lucky hit on a razorbacck. Extra armour would be nice but plague marines aint going to move much. And as such are static cover for DP and defilers if they are in the line. Oh yeah and wind of chaos? Hello no cover saves/armour. Gift of chaos is a possible i really liek the idea of.. Dante as a spawn.. hmmm

Let us know what you think.

Hey there,

Nice list. However there are a few changes i'd make.

I'd drop the plasma pistols for the champs in each PM squad as it believe its a waste of points. Also i'd change one squad to meltas in case of armour 13/14. I'd drop the havoc launchers and either replace them with combi weapons or have the rhinos bare bones.

Chaos terminators are OK, but i believe there better in small units of 3 with combi weapons. Personally, i'd drop them for a unit of chosen with melta or plasma or have another squad of PM's - these guys are just so good.

The DP - i would definitely go for warptime over any other psychic power - with the exception of lash, however that is not really an option. WoC is good, but how can you say no to rerolls..?

Your heavy slot is good - i like that combination, 3x3 oblits is better but two defilers gives people the gaks.

Ultimately its up to you, the list is still pretty good and i imagine will still perform well, however your gonna be severly out numbered. Hence why i believe you should drop the termis and prob replace with infiltrating chosen or more PMs.

Good luck with your list, i hope it works out well for you =)

i kind of agree about the terminators. to make 300 pts back is a tough call. And was playing with choosen or even raptors (i like the idea of them but without hit and run.. meh)

Pistols are in this season i like the extra dice, basically what i'm doing is charging up jumping out with 2 squads and laying down 10 str 7 ap 2 shots into something expensive. They take the soften charge if anything is left. DP counters and cleans up (with or without the tag team double defilers)

Havocs are also sort of meh, But i cant stop loving them being TL and str 5. low numbers and hordes scare me i guess
