Plasma Generator missing the core+paint which I'm still working on. Sort of looks like a web-way portal or something along those lines without a core. The pillars and base ring are hollow there is about .4mm of material behind the circular ports on the pillars. Was planning on lighting it and the transparent core with red led.

That is really nice objective
I think the red LED's will work really well in it
Keep up the good work

I'd want to see the core before I could really say that LEDs would be awesome, but... LEDs are almost always awesome. More pics when there's more progress!

An objective point? On an internet forum? I should cocoa! Hahaha!

Cos... cos... people make points. And... and they're often... subjective.

Cough.

Anyway. Really nice work there, with the LEDs I think this will make an exceedingly nice objective.

The core piece should be printed in transparent detail when they finally get it into production. It's also hollow to within 1mm in most places and opens on the bottom with a hollow shaft running up the center of the core. The slanted bottom surface of the lower core ring sits on the spheres in the outer bits base ring.

I'm not sure if I should leave the entire core unpainted and glowing red. Or paint the exterior and led the inset skulls and very central section glow red?

Very cool objective marker. I wish more people made custom ones. I hate the little chits, poker chips, glass beads, or whatever. Army-themed objective markers are awesome. Great work.

Here is the half scale test print. When it came in the base ring was dished so badly the top 4 points were touching. I tried to bend it under hot water but it snapped at the thin spot in the ring. Might be usable as basing bits or something fits on a 60mm base almost perfectly. Shows how the parts all fit together and where I'd have to cut it for recasting.

Most impressive. Ah, to have a 3D printer... I'd probably pester my wife until she has learned how to make models, since she is a graphic designer and a programmer.
