I have posted photos of my work before..not to good. After a bit of practice i have gotten by a large amount better. I have had my friend Craig((Craig is the "hair" Guy in Bad_Sheep's video reports) take these photos (And more photos to come..he is a god with the camera) There is only two, but i am going to have him photo shoot almost all of my newly painted models. I am going to start this Showcase and possibly maybe a blog about my armies, games, and such things related to my personal 40k hobby.

Hope you enjoy the photos and More to come in a bit.

The white and red shoulder pads are ace. All of your minis look like they are painted very well, just work on your camera skills so we can lavish even more praise upon them.

Also, get those bases painted and flocked!

Thank you much for the Kind words. I have yet to work on any basing or terrain. I should really do this before i glue them on, but i am thinking of doing a checkerboard pattern on the white base. I'd like to set them up on a really nice Marble chess board for a coffee table display maybe. I am going to try and take More pics/better pics outside today if the sun decides to show up.

The first is my take on a grey knight Librarian.(or if needed a GK termi with Ward staff)

The second is my Grey knight grand Master

The last is a taste of my Warriors of Chaos army. My take on a war shrine.

Warshrine looks pretty intimidating! Where is that brazier of flame from? Is that part of the original corpse cart? GKs look good too. I think the black and white checkered pattern will add a lot to them, since (like most GK) they're predominantly all silver.

Blairsville,PA

Thank you very much! yes the Flame is one of two choices you have for the Corpse cart, the second being a bell. I really need to stop rushing to put the models together, and do their bases first. My orks i think eventually they will get a junkyard base scheme. The GK's are going to get the Marble Black and white checker look. My WoC army is going to get a festering swamp (as soon as i get back into the feel for it again)

And again i would like to thank my Buddy Ataraxia for taking these photo's, as well as beginning to teach me how to use my own camera lol.

I really like the works you do and think it's great. The Grey Knight vehicles just look so flat. I am not even sure what you could do to fix it but I just don't like the grey knight vehicles. I think they are painted to a fantastic level but I still just don't like them. Really really love your ork vehicles though.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The later pictures of the Grey Knights with all your weathering do make them look much better. I guess I may just not like that shade of grey over that large of an area.

@Runmymouth, Thank you very much for your compliments. I will admit the grey gets boring after a while. That's why i gave everything a beat up "dirty" look. And also, i just don't like the look of clean and pretty War machines.. It's 40k for goodness sake lol. Upadte for Firemind if your out there bud, Almost done with all 6 tanks already. I don't think I've ever painted so fast. I will try and get pics up of the entire lot when I'm done.

I much prefer your ork stuff to your grey kinight stuff. The ork vehicles are are . You tied together the color scheme well while avoiding it looking uniform and polished, and everything has great texture.

The grey knights feel like you are still looking for your technique. Especially the vehicles are very flat. Your blood angels tanks are better, but the flat surfaces still have that same problem.

Where you used weathering and chipping they look good, but especially on the top you just haven't done anything. For example on one of the GK rhino's the front panel looks very good, but the top just doesn't look like it had any effort put into it, which is a shame since the top is what you see 90% of the time.

I think a localized wash over the bolts and gubbins would be a good first step on the tops of the vehicles, to give them some contrast. A darker shade of grey in the corners could look good too.

Same thing for the GK infantry. Look at the box image of the terminators and you might notice the 'eavy metal painters did most of their armor in gradients of color instead of uniform like they usually do on marines.

Overall though, very good job. Great attention to detail, very clean looking, and excellent weathering effects.

@Riplikash Thank you so much for the Compliments and the pointers. My idea on My own rhinos was the dmg was moving upward, so i didnt even think to do anything to the top. But i pulled them out and looked and yes..very bland up top save for the Chapter house door. I will go back once my latest commission is done and touch up my own stuff. As for my termies, they look 100% different now. All my infantry i am going back, Actually doing the basing and re painting them. When they are all done i will post them.

Finally got some "better" pics (with my phone) At least my photo skills are getting better. The Eldar and Blood angels are painted for my friends armies Which you can see in Bad_sheep's Battle reports here on dakka. Hope you all enjoy! The guy in white power armor is My inquisitor. The imperial guard were mine, but sold to a friend.
