Boosting Space Marine Biker

Hello all my fellow dakkanauts!
I've been playing GW games since about 1996 or so. In that time I've gone from a bloodbowl enthusiast to a Necromunda fiend to a 40k addict. I put the hobby aside while I was in college and over the last 8 years or so have gotten back into the hobby. I started slowly, but now am a complete and total addict. While gaming has always been my strength and my first love with this hobby as time has gone by I've found myself more interested in the other aspects of the hobby and have decided that now I'd like to plunge headlong into the painting and building portions of the hobby. So here I am, to share my struggles and my triumphs with the world at large in the hopes that maybe with your help and inspiration I can work on the massive backlog of models I have in my gaming closet and learn a bit here or there.
I have several armies and may jump from project to project now and again to keep from getting too bored. Hope you enjoy some variety.
Without further ado I give you my wip warhound titan
EDIT: See below for my Dragon Lords counts as space wolves army. Just thought I should give you a few shots of what my armies sort of look like finished. I'll get a new memory card for my real digital camera soon so you don't have to put up with iphone camera shots.

I wanted to give you guys just a little more about what I've been up to so here are some shots (from my crappy iphone camera) of my Dragon Lords. They count as space wolves because riding dragons is cooler than riding wolves.. yeah.. so anyway here they are:

Here's a couple shots of my first army "the stormriders" a diy chapter. other than the titan and thunderhawk my next two projects I tried to limit myself to just painted models. I have many many more to paint including a full bike army of 2000 pts, many rhinos and tanks, 40 assault marines, and several AoBR Terminators. The last shot is my kit bashed chapter master Lord Commander Cicero. Hope you enjoy!

I have utterly failed to do anything with this blog. My crazy work schedule and some real world troubles have prevented me from making any real progress on my hobby. This is a shame, but I'm going to try to make a real effort not only my hobby but this blog as well from here on out.
I've recently come to some decisions about what I need out of my hobby from this point forward, and I've decided to up my game. Until now I've always been happy to take a little time and churn out table top quality work that would be fun to game with. Now I want more. I want to thoroughly clean and remove all flash and lines from the figures. I'd like to drill out bolter barrels and commit to using resin scenic bases or making my own. Most importantly I want to add skill to my painting in order that my limited time for hobbying is spent creating work I can be 100% proud of, rather than rationalizing away less than my best due to time constraints.
These decisions are born from my desire to do a FW pre heresy army. I've chosen Ultramarines and I wanted to make sure if I'm going to invest the cash that I do them justice. I'll start with some wip of my thunderhawk, which I've appropriated from my other marines and repurposed to be a centerpiece of what i hope will be a truly impressive army. Here are my photos of my wip thunderhawk.
