"Oi Fastus!"
Oreg Stonefist, the Great and Terrible All-knowingness (at least in his mind) and Master of All He Surveyed (A really big rock), bellowed for his new favorite cook and prophet.
"The boys are gettin bored and we ain't got nothin' to eat! I wanna go thump somethin'!"
Fastus thought about it as he scooped the fried Gnoblar legs onto a serving platter.
"We could go down to the lowlands. your Gluttonness. Of course, we don't have enough boys here after the beating we took last time. We'd have to ask your wife for more."
Everyone present shuddered.
"Aye that's right. Dang crunchy lizard chickens." Oreg sighed. "But it be for a good cause dere. Ye be right den Fastus. Time to see me wife."

In the ongoing saga of the Runemaw Clan (named because of the Runemaw Banner and Mawseeker big names), this is the latest battle. Here's the 2,500pt list:

Oreg Stonefist
-Tyrant w/Fencer's Blades, Trickster's Helm, Mawseeker, HA

Fastus
-Slaughtermaster w/Halfling Cookbook, Bloodcleaver, Crown of Command

Standard Guy Burg
-BruiserBSB w/Enchanted Gutplate, Talisman of Endurance, Ironcurse Icon

Grup
-Butcher w/Dispel Scroll

16 Bulls w/Standard, Bellower, Ironfists
6 Ironguts w/FCw/Runemaw
25 Gnoblar Fighters w/Groinbiter

Scraplauncher
4 Leadbelchers
Gorger

Mawseeker is just awesome IMO . Chances of failing Stupidity at Ld 8-9 w/ReRoll are slim to nil. Of course I say that now....
I was going to be facing a combat Dwarf army, not a single warmachine.... totally wierd eh?
Here it was:
Dwarf lord w/ shield bearers, master rune of smiting, 2X rune of cleaving, shield
BSB Thane w/ master rune of gromil, rune of cleaving

40 longbeards w/ banner, great weapons
30 quarrellers w/ great weapons
40 warriors w/ banner, shields
20 thunderers w/ shields

20 miners
20 hammerers w/ banner, shield

The Battle of the Really Big Guy and the Little Guy that stands on other guys so he can look Big

Terrain and Setup
Not going into real detail over the Terrain as we only used half the 6x4 board lol. The only ones that made a difference were the two mysterious forests at top mid left and another at center mid left. There was also a tower center left that saw some action.
We rolled Blood and Glory.
For deployment he pretty much clumped up on the left side of the table with the Longbeards at about center right.
I deployed the Horde with all the heroes except the Butcher right across from his main battleline. Ironguts went to handle the left and Leadbelchers handled the right.

Pregame Thoughts
Ugh....
Oh joy, a rather large Dwarfy combat army lol. I guess I was glad that there were no warmachines but holy bleep there was a lot of dwarfs lol.
Everything was going to hinge around the Bull horde. If it went down the game was toast.
On the other hand the sheer amount of attacks that unit could throw out would be disgusting....

Turn 1
Dwarfs
Not much for movement.
Wild Wood eats some Quarrelers.
Couple shots into the Bull Horde and I think I lose 1.

Ogres
Burg forgot to tie his shoelace and so the massive horde lurched forward a whopping 5". Dang Stupidity
Ironguts advanced around the tower.
Leadbelchers moved to protect the right flank.
Grup cast Trollguts on his unit and then tried to get off Bloodgruel and promptly took another wound .
In the Shooting phase the Scraplauncher landed bang on the Warriors, hitting about 30 but I rolled horribly and killed maybe 3?
Leadbelchers unloaded on the Longbeards and, despite rolling around 28 or so shots, killed 3...yes 3.

Turn2
Dwarfs
Longbeards longbomb charge the Leadbelchers, needing 9 and making it....
Miners arrive on the left flank to counter the Ironguts and the Hammerers also turn towards them.
Shooting dropped maybe another Ogre, it wasnt very effective lol. At least that is one good thing about facing no warmachines! Cannons would have had me down to half by now lol.
Longbeards stomp all over the Leadbelchers, leaving only 1 alive who kills 1 back but fails his break test and is rundown by the bloodthirsty old farts. Thankfully they dont run far enough to get into the flank of the Ogres.

Ogres
The Bulls announce a charge against the Warriors, hopefully smashing them and, at the same time, getting out of the charge arc of the Longbeards....
Of course this totally fails as Oreg sees as Butterfly and happily chases after it. Yup, Oreg failed this time...They lurch forward a whole whopping 2". Next turn is going to hurt.....
Ironguts round the Tower and prepare for the charge.
Gnoblars march up to the Tower.
All magic is dispelled.
Scraplauncher scatters away.

Turn 3
Dwarfs
Lots of charges! And tons of FAIL
Longbeards hit the flank of the Bulls but the Warriors fail.
Hammerers hit the Ironguts but the Miners fail.
Straight on to combat as the Gnoblars are hidden behind the Tower and the Scraplauncher is too far away.
Oreg and Burg push through the ranks to get into contact with the Longbeards and kill a few. The other bull also kills a couple. The longbeards then kill a few Bulls. Not exactly sure who won that combat but whoever it was passed and the Ogres reformed to face them.
Ironguts and Hammeres smash each other silly. Hammerers lose but pass their break test.

Ogres
Gorger pops in to say hello to the Thunderers.
Gnoblars hop into the Tower.
Don't think I managed to get any magic off.
The Ironguts and Hammerers again trade blows. Hammerers lose again but stand.
This time around the Bulls go chop suey and kill a ton of Longbeards who are overcome by the sheer ferocity and dont manage much back. They break but get away.
Unfortunately the Bulls didnt run far enough to get out of the Warriors charge arc

Turn 4
Dwarfs
Warriors hit the flank of the Bulls.
Miners hit the flank of the Ironguts.
Quarrelers charge the Tower.
Thunderers reform to face the Gorger.
The Ironguts reduce the Hammerers to 3 but are dropped to just Grup and the Gutlord. They break and run away.
Rally on snakeeyes....never goin to happen lol.
Gnoblars amazingly hold in the Tower
Now on to the pivotal battle.
Oreg bellows a challenge to which the Dwarf Lord accepts. Thank jeebus . If the Lord had let lose on the Bulls his D6/wound weapon would have slaughtered them.
Oreg causes 2 wounds and the Lord whiffs....
Ogres are rather ineffective and throw pillows. The BSB puts 2 wounds on Fastus and the warriors kill a couple bulls.
They win combat by a rather large margin but happily the Ogres are Stubborn and stand.
The Ogres then reform to face them.

Ogres
Gorger charges the Thunderers.
In the magic phase Fastus manages to get Trollguts and the +1T (Bull Gorger?) off on the Ogres but takes wounds from both. This is where I made a massive tactical error. I decided to take my last dice and roll for Bloodgruel. He rolls a 3 for the spell then promptly rolls a 1 and kills himself.....
Of course that's when I remember about the bleepin Bloodcleaver...
Spells are, of course, gone.
Gnoblars throw every piece of junk they can find at the Quarrelers and actually kill 2 .
Oreg doesnt manage to wound the Lord who manages to get a hit through scoring 2 wounds.
The Bulls actually win combat but the Dwarfs hold.
Thunderers cause 2 wounds to the Gorger who kills 2 himself.

Turn 5
Dwarfs
Miners charge the tower, 2 going down to the torrent of crap thrown at them .
Straight into combat.
Miners kill a ton of Gnoblars who have had enough and book.
Oreg kills the Dwarf Lord and the Bulls whack a bunch more but the damage has been done....

Ogre Victory!!!
Of course there was one small oops....
The Dwarf Lord was In4...
Oreg was In4...
They should have been striking at the same time except that I have always played the Tyrant with a Cathayan Longsword as did the guy that I traded them off of and so always thought of him as In5....
DOH!!!
Wouldn't have mattered anyways though....Oreg still wouldve whupped him . If, by some miracle, the Dwarf Lord had caused 3 wounds then it would have been a draw as we both would have hit the Break Point at the same time.
Opponent rolled up dice after the fact to see if he could take down Oreg. Didnt manage squat
Another battle coming soon!!!
