Hey dakka. I decided last night to strip all my ultramarines and paint them Minotaurs. The only twist is that I'm using the old paint scheme because I think its cooler. Anyway I will hopefully get some simple green tomorrow (if my dad will get it) and will hapily start painting
Happy easter btw

Ultramarines and Executioners have a pretty similar color scheme these days. If you were dissatisfied with how your blue marines looked, you might not be happy with gunmetal blue marines, but I suppose you know that already.

We're really not seeing enough of the armor itself in the pics. What will the helmets look like? Will you add the mustard-yellow accent color like in IA-10, or color code the tactical shoulder pads? I personally don't know how the tactical pads should be done - bright green would clash, but you might be able to make it distinct on the Sergeants.

Im not really shure yet so far i have painted two marines and they both have dark gold shoulder pads. I was thinking dark gold for tactical dark green for heavy weapons and not shure about assult marines or veterans. i think tatical marined will have gun metal blue helmets and serg and vets will have dark gold with a red stripe.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
So I've decided bronze for tac yellow for assult purple for devs and red for scouts. The serg will have same as their shoulder pads
