To be honest, its a bit hard to judge the colour scheme as the flash on your photo has caused the browns to merge, obscuring the detail. Try taking fresh photos without using the flash so we can see the real colours.

What do you have in mind for the base - sand dry brushed with bleached bone to compliment the brown ?
