I do apologize for the photos quality, It's taken with my cell with no real back drop besides the filing cabinet at work. I am certainly no super painter either. I am always looking for pointers so I appreciate the feedback. Will try and get a better photo for you. Thanks!

Looks good, I like the base. But I suggest taking the picture with plain white paper underneath/behind him.

Yeah, I think a good neutral taupe or grey of some sort would actually be the best. The only problem i've had with white is the contrast differential it darkens the miniature too much. But either way, I'll get some more images.
