So the Eldar periodically enter the eye of terror, from what I understand, to retrieve spirit stones or other Eldar tech or what have you. From what I've read "Acquiring new spirit stones is extremely dangerous because the Crone Worlds exist within the Eye of Terror" is there any mention via codex or BL as to how the Eldar protect themselves when in the warp? I would think that Slaanesh would be all over them within a second once he/she/it sensed them.

their own spirit stones are what protects them.

the Craftworlds are also heavily shielded.

Ah, I see I see. I just thought it terribly interesting that the Eldar raid the crone worlds.

Biel-Tan actually claimed and captured a world in the Eye of Terror during the campaign of the same game.

IIRC it was starting to be reformed back to a normal world, though after the campaign was over for a while we never heard anything about it again.

it isn't like going into the EoT is the same as entering the Warp.

the EoT is simply a place where the Warp and the Material universe are overlapping. its actually fairly safe to walk outside and ships don't have to have their Geller field on.
