Has any one ever tried out these terrain kits? They look ok from what I can see, fully painted with an ok price tag but I want to hear what dakka dakka has to say.

They are pretty damn cheap...
I was looking at them a while ago but never ordered any.
They also seem fairly simple to put together.

They are not fully painted, but plastic kits.
That said Pegasus kits are very good and blend perfectly with 40k aestetics. The Gothic houses are made of very thick plastic, have limits to their modularity and no roof, but complement the GW CoD buildings nicely. The plant and platform sets are very nice for conversions.
I can recommend all of them.

They are very good, very easy to work with and a lot of fun.

Here's what the gallery has

The land of cotton.

I love 'em. The price is right, they are modular and fit right in on a 40K table. The Electric Plant and Chemical Plant are a kit basher's dream and make great Orky kustomizin' parts.

One last note on the Pegasus buidlings though, you'll need lots of plasticard for roofs and floors.

I'm very curious to try out their gothic sets. Wondering if the ruins set is compatible with the non ruin sets so you could make like a ruined cathedral.

I made a tower from the gothic house and the ruins.
And I am quite certain that they are compatible with the cathedrals as well.

The Gothic ruins and Gothic building sets ARE compatible.
VERY much so.

I made three buildings with my sets - two 'small' ruins (7"x10") and a larger 12"x12" two storey (with flooring and stairs). The stairs needed bits from my modelling bits collection. Floors were just tile patterned plasticard.

They are not compatible with the other plastic sets (Platformer/hexagon) though as they are merely a licenced copy of a Russian design (Technolog; for the 'Robogear' game).
