Hmmm, guessing this will go here. If not, sorry, please move

So, a few friends and I have been playing the Rogue trader, Deathwatch, D&D style game for awhile now, and I have a few questions for you guys that requires some knowledge of the 40K fluff.

First, some background -

Our killteam is as follows right now
Commander - Inquisitor (NPC)
"Sergeant" (Highest ranking) - Storm Warden Apothecary Terminator (PC)
Former Sergeant - Librarian, can't remember his chapter (NPC)
Others -
Black Templar Sword Brethren - Me lol
Blood Angels Librarian - PC
Dark Angels Librarian - PC
Salamanders TechMarine - PC
Lamentors Dreadnought - NPC

Now, my character, having obvious issues with the large number of psykers in the group (Even having almost killed the blood angel once) is now starting to have some Daemon encounters. Amanax (character's name ) has been fighting the corruption, but has been approached by a powerful chaos sorcerer who implanted a... hexagon shaped object inside me using his sorcery. After speaking with the former sergeant (Who saved Amanax from the sorcerer) it was believed the the relic blade which Amanax carried was corrupted, and possibly himself as well, but instructed to keep things close to him for now. After another mission, a daemon has appeared twice, offering Amanax power, and friendship. Both times Amanax has refused, even attempting to end his own life rather than serve the forces of Chaos, but the daemon forced him to stay his blade, and then saved Amanax's life (He was basically falling into a planet's core).

Now, we are in between sessions, and I am stuck. From a character stand point, I want Amanax to fight off the taint, try and seek out the daemon, and attempt to kill the daemon. I have the option of trying to contact the Grey Knights (trying being the keyword...) and see if they will attempt to purify me, in return I prove myself loyal to the imperium (through the trials) and then with their help kill this daemon. Also, our inquisitor is believed to be chaos touched (Long story) as is our former sergeant like person (Hence Amanax speaking to him about this matter despite him being a psyker) though Amanax and the inquisitor are the only ones who know this. So it's possible to try and implore their help, but knowing they are already tainted, this sounds like a bad option. Could always turn myself over to the Templar, and reroll a new character, but I would like to avoid that if possible

As things stand with the other members in our killteam, The blood angels librarian, Salamander TechMarine both don't get along with my character for some obvious reasons. The Dark Angel Librarian and the Lamentors Dreadnought just joined our team, and have had little contact with Amanax, though unknown to my character (Or the rest of the killteam for that matter) the Dark Angel player is a mole, planted in our group due to suspected chaos taint... go figure right?

So, as I know I don't know near as much about the lore as I can, I am curious to know what you folks here would suggest to fit the character, as I would like to attempt to play him close as possible to follow fluff.

Black Templars hate the witch, the mutant, and the heretic.

Do not trust the librarians, for though they serve The Emperor they are still witches.

Do not trust the Salamander and his corrupted gene-seed.

Do not trust the Inquisitor or ex-Sergeant for they may carry damnation in their hearts.

Trust the Apothecary. As a Veteran he has seen many wars against Xenos and Daemons. As an Apothecary he knows how to heal and protect the body.

...

At least that's what I'd do.

I have already started befriending the Apothecary (He is also the captain of our ship, forgot to mention that earlier).

Well, the only thing I have done not up with that, is I have trusted the ex sergeant and the inquisitor, as they have both saved my characters life on occasion (So I viewed it as a "I owe you my life" kind of thing.. but it doesn't really sit well with me either)

That's a pretty crazy story you've got so far. I would also go to the apothecary for help first, if that doesn't work, contacting the Grey Knights would be a last resort, as they might see your taint as too much and just kill you through purification.

Yeah, that thought with the Grey Knights did cross my mind, that and it wouldn't surprise me if both the Ex- Sergeant and the inquisitor stopped me from sending them a message, so I figured it would be a last resort.

I should get around to writing out the story and let you guys hear it, it's pretty insane
