Sacrifice to the Dark Gods

I am pretty very new to the Warhammer 40k tabletop universe, and by extent Dakka. But I'd like to share with the community my very first Word Bearer thus far. I bought and completed him earlier today and even though hes not great by a long shot, hes not terrible so I love him. So without further adue, I'd like to show you Sergeant Daqthor of Squad Bes'Zhur.

((Also, sorry for the terrible quality. It was just a picture I took with my phone to show it to my brother. I'll actually use a real camera in the morning)) XD

Clean, solid painting. Considering you're a beginner, it's a very promising start.

However, to improve the model that little bit more, I'd suggest you give it an all-over wash of Badab Black. Just brush it on fairly liberally, and let it dry. It'll tone your colours down a little, tying them in more, and also give you some shading.

Good work. Looking forward to seeing more.
