Tried to order a necron destroyer today. All necrons unavailable from Trade Sales according to my sales rep.

Nothing solid to confirm the rumors of a new codex and line of models. If this was the metal kits, I'd just assume that it was part of the ongoing swap to resin. But this includes the plastic kits.

I heard from a guy that sleeps in a box behind the mall that he overheard a conversation between 2 redhshirts, and Necrons are going to become Tau Auxiliaries, like Kroot. They apparently threw off the shackles of the C'Tan and now fight for the comic good. They also have added a Barghesi tinkerer, which makes Necromissile launchers.

Also, once per game, they all can charge forward 6 inches and gain an additional round of shooting. It works similarly to an Ork Waaagh!, except it's shooting, and instead of Waaagh, they all shout "Oh No You Di'int!". Swear to god, bro.

Except OP actually runs a store so it's slightly more credible?

I bet you that if there's a redone version of the battle force it's price tag will be inproportionately higher compared to the original and that what you get in the box will not warrant the price increase.

Thanks for that - I just got the 'strange looks' again at work for bursting out in seemingly random laughter!

I eagerly anticipate the Nemesis Necroknight armed with Necrocannon and Necrosword.

I hope my battleforce + 2 monoliths + 3destroyers + heavy destroyer + necron lord + necron destroyer lord are enough for the new codex. I don't want to buy anymore and I don't want to build anything else. I'm leaving my half assembled destroyers as they are, the new units might include some pretty cool bits to add. Why can't they come now? :(

Given the coming price increases I'm glad I socked away a lot of Necron plastics at significant discounts during the Apocalypse deal promotions. Unfortunately, the newer plastic kits I've been waiting for at the next army revision will probably be so expensive that I'll have to limit their numbers more than expected, but at least it will take less time to assemble and paint it. That's about the only silver lining I can find in what new kits will likely cost after May 28 in North America.

I can't wait for The Silent King to wander the warp for like... a BILLION years and carve Nightbringer's name into all the Slann's eye-sockets and then totally burn the black library down, and have sex with all our mothers - at the same time.
