This is my first attempt at doing a painting blog. I am hoping to make a reasonable size standard Blood Angel army.
I am relitivly new to painting only about 6 months under my belt but willing to try new stuff out. Any criticism is welcome if not encouraged

I chose assault terminators as a unit I can build my army around I personally think there excellent models. The bases were moulds ordered off of EBay from 616designs they are an excellent product and they arrived in a few days, They were painted before the postman has gotten of the driveway I am easily excited. To go with the Bases and Terminators I also purchase a set of Forge World shoulder pads these look great but they need a lot of cleanup work done on them...

Once all my stuff had been delivered I magnetised all the bases arms and bodies. Easy to do using a 3mm drill bit and hand drilling the holes. Once I had all five models magnetised I took one and did a test paint job which I am relatively pleased with, I used techniques from the GirlPainting video on YouTube but used slightly different colour mixes.
Hope you enjoy looking at these pretty standard stuff but I am hoping this keeps me motivated to actually painting an army rather than leaving grey models on a shelf..
