I actually ran this list and meant to post it much sooner but I lost it for a bit then just found it. I did actually run this list at a tournament. It was a really fun list to run and it was funny how afraid of it my opponents were of it despite its craptasticness. No proxies were used, everything was WYSIWYG.

Having heard alot of crap about how much Arcoflagellants and Penitent Engines suck, I wanted to see for myself how bad it really was. Having played them, I was very pleased and impressed with the Arcoflagellants despite their high point cost. A unit of 6 is really worth it to put the hurt down on anything, once their stim injectors are activated.

The Penitent Engines underperformed as was expected, however, the fact they were my only vehicles to receive any anti-tank fire certainly didn't help any. Amusingly, the game they performed the best at was against Tau as he could not take the last of them down to save his life. In another list without Karamazov and the Arcoflagellents, in addition to some more threatening vehicles to take some anti-tank fire, the Penitent Engines could do some good. Perhaps due to just about all my opponents lack of knowledge, or perhaps knowing better, they were more afraid of the Penitent Engines and the Arcoflagellents second.

Even for trying something unique, why are you running Inq storm troopers instead of Sisters? Sisters can use faith, be in a Rhino and equip 2 melta guns for less cost than your Inqu Storm Trooper squads, that way you have another thing for anti tank to shoot at as well. I'd cut 1 acro squad and run something like this.

Inquisitor Lord Karamazov - 205

Acroflagellents x 6 - 210

Acroflagellents x 6 - 210

Sister of Battle x 10 - 232
Melta Gun x 2, Veteran, Book, Eviserator

Call me silly, but I don't like to mix my Inquisition with my SoB. That's why.

You are actually mixing Inquisition and Ecclesiastary already, just drop the inquisitors and you have a SoB army. I like to include a unit of Repentia (if I am already fielding 'poor' units) to go with the priest.

The biggest thing I have seen is you need to 'guide' your penitent engines with Rhinos or Reserve them so they can come in a bit closer to the enemy.

Acros and Penitent Engines are very much Sisters of Battle units and not Inquisition, both of them need a Priest to deploy them, so as thus they are Ecclesiarchy units already.

Yes, I have no problem mixing non-SoB Ecclesiarchy units with my Inquisition. Frankly aside from required Force Org., I have all I need for an Inquisition army, a non-SoB Ecclesiarchy army, and my SoB army. All three are rather complete.

I had little trouble with the forced movement overall, and had I had the points I would have had Rhinos for the IST Squads to help "guide" the Penitents. The only game I wished I had reserved them was against an all SM Bike list. He got to alpha strike them and hard.

Half right anyway. Acroflaggellants and Penitent Engines are Ecclesiarchy units as are the Priests. SoB also fall under the Ecclesiarchy, however Arcos and Penitents are NOT SoB units. That whole all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares bit.
