Very nice! If anything, I think he's cooler than the official Sicarius. But his tabard is too long. Far too long. He'd be tripping over it every time he tried to charge!
How is the blue done?

I reckon if you painted him similar to the Sicarius model it would look even closer.
The paintscheme and the standard on the backpack are the the only things seperating them, imo.

I'm presuming its this model you have tried to model it too?
Your version is pretty grimdark - I'm not saying it's bad, but i reckon if you painted him more 'look at me', like the Ultramarines are, it would make him stand out more.

I believe the phrase is "What has been seen, cannot be unseen." I never saw peoples complaints towards the space marines having disproportionate legs, until now. And wow, they really do have stubby legs.
Regardless, the paintjob is truly outstanding. I really like it when people make their miniatures have a war torn, gritty feel, it really works at creating a sense of realism, and life to the miniatures.

Wow, you got me fooled. I really thought it was the actual ltd. edition Sicarius (should've read the topic first). Awesome work on him.

No Bully you will not cave and play ultramarines! you will pick up that little brush of yours and work on more of your jaw droppingly good imperial fists! o.k?...o.k? good! i'm glad that's settled!
and in regards to this mini.... :-) another great one! I really like the blue you have done, I feel it's a nicer shade than the solid ultramarine blue you usually see, and the fact that you made it yourself is amazing, a damn good job you've done getting it to look right (and I think it does) but the faces you paint are by far my favorite things you do! always very characterful and perfectly executed every time!
well done and as usual, i applaud you!
