The lastest commission I'm working on has a winged Dante analog for a chapter master, equipped with a sword instead of the axe, and having Astorath's wings by client request. Pretty pleased with how this is going so far - some details to add here and there. You'll notice some metal brackets on the base, these are there to counterweight the wings and will be covered in rubble once the piece is done.

The wings are from Astorath and I think the head comes from the Empire knights kit.

That is a beautiful conversion man. Seriously VERY impressed. The green-stuff work is really subtle but really good (particularly the 'V') and the pose is so fluid, dramatic and imposing. Really impressed by the pose.
Possibly your best work yet IMHO man.

The shield is heat-formed plasticard for the dome, with the rim being cut out of the same plasticard with a circle cutter.

Sweet conversion. Can't wait to see it painted.

Going to roll with SETMM on these chaps I think (Sky/Earth True Metal Metals). The shield rim is pretty much how it'll turn out. Going to sharpen the horizon a bit.

More progress shots going up as it's too hot to paint right now.

The golds are looking extremely excellent.

This is starting to look like the gold I'm going for. Lots of work to do on it...

That's looking really super. I'm really excited to see you doing this. Its getting really difficult to find good examples of true metallics with so much NMM around. Which colours are you using? Can't wait to see it finished.

The model is fantastic!
I really love the greek hoplite feel to it.

It's pretty much boiled down to VMC Bronze base, shaded with VMC Flat Black and VMC Leather Brown, highlighted through VMC Old Gold to VMC Silver.

That gold is superb and like the very well realised scratches/damage. Look forward to seeing the face done to see how well it adds a focus to the miniature.

All I can say is wow, that is truly epic.

Bit more done. It's really hot today, so took a break to do some photos. paint keeps drying out on the (wet!) palette. Nightmare.

I pretty much cant stand the BA sculpts, but Ill admit, that looks pretty badass

Brilliant. The red really suits the brass/gold. It would look odd too have the normal blue.

Bit more done. OSL over the SETMM is not easy. Ended up having to repaint the left side of the armour. It's pretty subtle but it's starting to work. Might push it a bit more later on.

It all looks amazing man. Particularly the sword and face in particular for me. Can't wait to see the finished product!
