Hey guys, this is my first project log and I hope you all like it!!

- I just got my battleforce today and the first thing I did was build my XV8 crisis suit and his two shield drones.

this looks good

one thing though, is that a mold line on his head?

That's where his head was attached to the sprue, i was being lazy and just ripped it off instead of clipping it out so that resulted in a tiny hole on the top of his head, I'll fill it up with some GS soon.

-Ok so I built some firewarriors and painted two of them up with the two possible color schemes. Which one do you guys like better?
*The guns aren't glued on so it's easier to paint.

You should totally go with the white, its very crisp and clean looking. Every time I try to do something in white it takes a million coats.

Definitely the white one, it's a great looking scheme.

Thanks for the input. I think I'm going to go with white cause it's easy for me to paint and it looks nice and clean.

Have you thought about magnetizing the weapons?

I play Tau and i put magnets on each weapon and module on the battlesuit...

Also on another note, the engines on the devilfish are on the wrong sides just so you know but great work so far...

Yeah I'm going to magnetize all my XV8s. Currently the weapons and modules are just stuck in the little slots, no glue. And thanks for pointing out the engine problem, I was wondering why they were so tall!

Your Devilfish's engines are on upside down / on the wrong sides.

Yeah PR03 already mentioned that, I fixed them.

Not a worry mate, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished battleforce, I'd also suggest you magnetise the devilfish engines onto the chassis because I have found that they aren't held on there very stable and any small amount of bumping can break off the tiny bit of plastic holding them on...

Also by simply adding a magnet to the burst cannon on the devilfish, it can be easily transformed into a Hammerhead or Skyray as needed...
