Painted 2 vehicles lately and where it was no problem with IG and a camo-scheme, with space marines and their "bright" scheme it seems to bug me. There are a few lines running along otherwise flat surfaces ( maybe description fail but pics may be enough? ) which I just kept
black if it was a IG valkyrie in a 3 color camo for example. Now a bloody StormRaven also has them, and to break up the "pure red" scheme
GW did as "common BA" , I've done a red-black-white scheme. All was well with these "lines" in orange at a white or white-black surface.
But pure black? Keep the orange or switch to something less contrasting? Or just paint it completly black ?

Pics to show what words may not:

I have to ask, why orange? Seems to me it would make more visual sense if you kept the color in-scheme. Since the lines could use a bit of cleanup, anyway, I'd suggest going over them with the same red you used on the fuselage.

OK, I'll paint the black parts with lines in red.

I think the issue you're having with the look of it is just the paint scheme. You've got a few too many colors competing for space as the primary. I'd say Hull/doors in red, then do other colors as secondary accents elsewhere. There's a couple ways to do those lines though, the easiest of which is to use an ink/wash in the recessed area to make them a darker version of whatever color is on the surface.

Also: your front "fins"/mini wings are on upside down. The long rectangular "piece" thats outlined by the indented lines should face backwards. It's supposed to be the flap that you raise/lower (such as on modern planes) to maneuver.
