Been thinking of doing this type of conversion for awhile now, so with one of my last GW purchases I picked up of box of Nobz and got to work. I started out by adding some blocks of styrene to the bottom of the feet to give him some height then built the armored shoes around it, then did the hydrolics for the legs and arms. After that I just started adding plates all over, then layered on smaller plates and designs like checks, dags and symbols to bulk him up. I think he looks beefed up but not so bulky that a strong wind would knock him over.

I have vacation next week so I hope to start working on some more then.

Agreed 100%, on both counts.

Thanks everyone. I did not get as much time to work on the second one as I wanted but did get the feet and leg armor done. Started working on the torso and back tonight, so hopefully should have him done soon.

over due update, second one is almost done, just have to add rivits and take pictures. Would have been done sooner but did not like how some things turned out and had to rebuild some details.
