@kingcracker...yes i did,i put a base yellow,then smoke wash,then three layers of yellow

my picture takeing ability lacks so,all the shades are lost,but it gives the basic idea of what i did

Looking good, though you may have wanted to base it prior to painting the whole fig. I know I have had a PITA whenever I had to go back and base a painted fig. Also the surface seams kinda waxy. I am guessing it is the semi gloss finish of the washes? Not sure but hitting the model with a coat of flat varnish spray might look better. Anyways, two thumbs up.

ill be putting him on a base soon,the gloss effect was my bad i grabed the wrong sealent :( ill fix that too.

well i have so many orks to paint ill need diffrent themes.

first im doing my skraaap boyz.wich will be yellow blue and reds.

honestly i like all the ork klans,but the badmoons deffskullz and evil sons are my favorite of the bunch,so i took 3 klan colors and came up with the skraaaperz AKA...the EVIL LOOTED MOONZ.....

Very nice painting. You got that "dirty look" nailed.
One tip, use a more yellowish hue on teeth and bone, they look very white and clean compared to the rest.
