yes it sounds odd but they are cloaked hooded tall lean varied poses plastic and easy to ad goggles and guns and other converty bits too

I'm really glad you bumped it or I might have missed it. They look interesting and a good idea using the rangers. I don't really see them as Delaques but I do see Redemptionists. My eyesight isn't what it used to be and I'm finding those pics a little small so perhaps irl perhaps they look more delaquey.

Your green stuff work looks good.

I like the first guy, good pose and the weapons look about the right size, which is always a worry when using lotr models for warhammer.

The guy with bolter is in a fine pose but that bolter is far too large for him. The new forge world space marine bolt pistols make a good sized boltgun on human sized models.

Lasgun guy is in a nice running pose.

I really like the ork shoota for a heavy stubber though....works a treat.

I'm looking forward to seeing some paint on them.

the greenstuff work on the backs is rubbish at the moment
the bolter is a bit oversizedbut that will change im using bolt pistols for autopistols yeah enjoy

the idea to use LotR minis for some 40k related use i had for quite some time...always wanted to see some Urukhai´s done as space orks...away from the comicesque look of the greenhides and to more earthen looking killers...

your models look very good, love the pose of the boltgunner... looks almost as if he is in bullettime^^
that first ganger... where did you get his gun from? looks really cool and right up my alley^^

the idea to use ork shootas for heavy weapons is one i wanted to do too for quite some time...so now i will do thatfor definite^^

I would never have thought to use lotr for necromunda (scale issue) but it doesnt look all that bad from your models, nice work

The gun is from the dwarf warriors sprue, the hands a little oversized though :(

The scale issue is there but ive comared to other models and well these guys are quite tall for LOTR and tho they are thinner than standard IG ill put it down to underfeeding in the hives!

Further notice I opened my eyes and realised the suck for delaques so theres a change they will be done as Cawdor, the covered faces are much more in keeping, I just primed the 2 special weapons and the running ganger and they are waiting to dry before first bash at painting.

They will be a very normal black and blue with some red for cawdor.

minis looking very cool! the scheme works realy nice and the only scale issue i see is the laspistol/ bolter holster of the first guy... surprisingly the lasgun looks very good on the mini and totally not out of scale...

one request tho... could we get zoomable pics and maybe a sideshot of the stubber guy?

Paintings looking good but don't they have too much hair for Delaque? The hooded sneaky style you've got going is looking good and a nice dulled bright scheme. Looking forward to more (Ebay's a good source for Necromunda stuff at the moment....)

Hi, yeah the problem with photos is they are all being done off my phone, i dont have a real camera.

the holsters do look oversized but in the flesh it looks ok to me, im not the most perfectionist, i have autoguns shotguns and barrels on the way soon so there will be some nice ak47 style stuff going on.

my idea is to run them as a different hive gang so not in the necromunda hive for our campaign, this hives been battered by constant assaults from chaos and xenos, they have over time looted weapons from battlefields ( the ork shoots for one) and the leader has a lasgun in the form of a tau rifle, they all just work as normal necromunda guns just different looks.

I have 3 more on the paint bench atm, 2 juves and the leader whos undergone some changes.

given that the LotR minis are sometimes dead cheap on ebay i think i will give this idea a shot too... could work as commandos for my own army...

Right guys, as im waiting for delivery of a few things from Maxmini I cant keep making gangers.

So to kill this time I might start on some scenery, or even a game board.

If I do a game board I wil do a 3'x3' made of four squares.

There will obviously be buildings of multiple levels but all quite open. i might make some form of collapsed trench system.
I am quite keen to have some for of toxic waste/sludge pool. and obviously make it slightly modular so there are lots of good options.
So ill start work on that somewhen wiith drawings and so on.

I wont post for a bit but keep tuned it will hopefully be worth it when i do
