If you've ever made a greenstuff tentacle, or other item out of greenstuff, you may have noticed that it is pretty soft while it sets up.
This can be somewhat solved by letting it set up for 10 minutes right after mixing it, making it partially cured before you sculpt it. Less gummy.
So how can you make it stay the way you want it without gravity doing what it does and causing horrible sagging?
Super glue.
Greenstuff can take HOURS to harden to where it won't bend. Superglue sets up in seconds.
So just brush some superglue all over the greenstuff you just sculpted, and blow on it.
Tadaaaa, the superglue hardens into a kind of shell, preventing the greenstuff inside from moving while it cures.

Also, quick question: where did you find a superglue bottle with a brush lid like that? I've never seen one of those before for superglue.

It's krazy glue. I got it because the tubes I usually use were sold out at the store.
I think the new citadel thin glue also has a brush.

Absolutely. It will work on anything, including toilet paper.
What is happening is the glue hardens in 30 seconds, and forms a thin rigid layer over the green stuff. This layer does not bend, and fits like a skin over the GS.
So yeah, feel free to try bits of cloth on a cape flying in the wind.

Damn, now that's a handily timed tip there! Cheers, I've been trying to make little putty bases for some model trees but the putty keeps breaking off after it dries, I'll give that a go tonight!

Glue ruins fine details later on but for rough and thin shapes shoot.
Or you can do it otherwise:
Mix in some extra blue.
Wait a while or put the piece on a table lamp or in hot water, cures enough not to bend out of shape in minutes instead of hours.

If you cover details with crazy glue, there are issues beyond my ability to help.
You can blend colors on glue.
Putting it on a table lamp bulb will cause the bulb to explode.

Besides, the warm water trick isn't all that useful really. Takes minutes to set up, the problem that a glue coat fixes is that these parts, like the tentacle and flowing cloak, are falling down in SECONDS, not minutes. Hours is right out.
Slap some glue on there, blow on it, and you're done.
Warming the material speeds reaction time, sure. Adding blue will make the end result firmer, after hours of cure. The lightbulb idea might burn the house down or cut you with broken glass.

I said on a lamp, not bulb. I use the hard cover of a lamp, the hotter the better.
Covering glue distorts/lessens very fine details in greenstuff so if you want to make hair thin things and very small rivets, stay out of glue otherwise do help yourelf.

just thought, could you put on a dollop of super glue, let the GS dry, then peel the glue off after, use a large enough coat?
