So my Flesh Tearers are almost finished now and as a very CC army I decided to go for something different. I tried Dark Eldar but after a squad lost the drive to paint them so I came back to marines. I've always liked the Red Corsairs but I hate the current codex so much it's put me off doing an army for them at the moment. When I read the Tyrants list in the imperial armour book I thought this was the perfect list for me, a mix of marines and guard able to drop a stupid amount of fire power. I'm going to start off with 1000-1500pts of marines based on the normal SM codex and then add guard units to make it a tyrants list.

I started off with a basic marine. I did this guy before the FW pads were out but decided to keep a few of the lion head symbols in the army.

Close up of the green stuffed pad.

I finished Huron himself last night. Hopefully having him as a centre piece will keep me going and I'll get a decent army finished.

What do you guys think of the start?
