Good result, but if you don't mind me saying, it's a bit lost on that Space Marine Captain. He's an awesome miniature (still one of my favourites) but too many covered parts. Still, interesting read! Keep it up!

Would it hurt to add a pic of the final result so that people know whether it's worth the effort to click on your link?

Yeah a picture showing the complete model would be really nice.

@ Destrado: Cheers for the feedback. I agree that the captain miniature was not the greatest choice in retrospect; I chose it because it was metal and easy to strip if I messed up.
