hello everyone!!
so i was thinking of making 3 killa kans with shield and close combat weapons,
and i'll post WIP pics
i was just wondering if this would be a cool idea or something, so please tell me what do you think?

kans are valuable because they shoot better than orks. This combined with lesser armor makes them ill-suited for dedicated close combat roles...
Might still be a fun modelling project though...

This looks promising. Shield looks a tad large, but I'll reserve judgment until I've seen the kan at full height, with limbs attached (always surprised how small the torso seems on the new models).

Yeah the shield looks way to large. I think it would take a lot away from the model.

Make up a couple different sized shields and see which you like best. Remember in real life shields come in all sizes, from bucklers that are not much bigger than a persons head, to riot shields that are almost the size of a person.
Try out a couple things and go with what you like. Build the model for you not for the internet.

Meks would simply grab anything conveniently 'sheild-like' that happened to be lying around. I was going to suggest a rhino side door - maybe slightly too large, not sure, but anything a little smaller than that should look good.
