When I saw that board, I immediately thought of Point Lookout.

That table is AMAZING, it is really showcase quality.
The army looks very nice too, they look almost exactly like the studio models, and certainly not far off on quality.
Any chance we can get some individual shots? I'd love to see the spitter myself.

Looks fantastic.

My Warjacks will not want to touch that board with a 10 foot electrified spear however.

Thanks AoE, I spend forever working on a board for 40k and its nothing more than construction sand, a little flock, and some drybrushing, and you come out and make this :-(

I will be in my corner of shame.

Hey thanks for the compliments. I might construct a light box tonight and try to snap some individual pics.

The board was more enjoyable to make than painting the army!

While your gators kick ass, your swamp is just amazing - as suggested it would be amazing to play a necromunda game on - point lookout style as suggested !

Point Lookout style? Would one side would be the smugglers and the other side be the Tribals/Rednecks?

Beautiful work on both models and board.

I really like the debris you have in the water, especially how you have some leaves floating and some stuff resting on the lake bed. It adds a static dynamic in a cool way!

the board looks superb, but good luck finding any WM players that want to play on it unless they run infantry spam...

Well...I could say "The water is regular terrain and does not count as water, I just want it to look pretty while we play..."

Thanks again for the compliments. I'm still trying to decide on another LOS blocker that would be modular on the board. I have an old shack already with a tin roof--and I considered just making another smaller building. Any ideas on something that is swampish, modular and would make for interesting game tactics?

Time to pimp a store---(FYI, I'm in no way associated with SkullCrafts company---just a satisfied customer);

Terrific to deal with, great product. I just glued some down before pouring water---and put some loose on the board as well---so when I poured it would suspend a bit. Can't believe nobody commented on my platypus on the board yet!

My first thought was "a crashed zeppelin" which is probably just an indication that I played World of Warcraft for too long.

It would be stretching the swamp thing a little, but some kind of mangrove like tree would be pretty neat.

I haven't read any of the Blindwater background but they seem to be vaguely into the necromantic/voodoo stuff so maybe an appropriately swampy grave yard, wrapped corpses on raised platforms or something.

Oh, I dig the swamp/voodoo idea! Great call and I should be able to make all the markers/sacrificial stones modular. Thanks!

The funny thing is I live like 20 minutes from point lookout and it is nothing like that..lol

Its nothing like the game..we don't have a boardwalk with farris wheel. We do have the hill billy's though..lol

But it was fun none the less...

Looks great!

I thought of the swamp level in dungeon siege 1 when I saw it, then again so many games have had swamp areas.
