5 Weeks ago on Wednesday, myself and user Abyss agreed to a trade. We both were to ship on Thursday or Friday of that week with delivery confirmation. I sent my package with DC as agreed upon, and I have still to receive a package or a DC number.

I traded him my Tyberos the Red Wake model, and a set of Dark Angels veterans for his New Razorback and Scout w/ sniper squad. I shipped my item out on Thursday the 16th of June, and it arrived at his house on Tuesday the 21st of June. I have not heard from Abyss since 5 Fridays ago, and I haven't received a package from him. I've also contacted one of his "People you Know" contacts on his profile page. The guy has over 3000 posts, and he also has yet to respond to me.

We had perfect communication, taking less than 30 minutes at a time to respond to each other, and ever since I sent the items out, it's been a communication blackout from the other side.

I've also contacted a moderator of this forum and this was my next step.

If anyone has any way of contacting this user I would greatly appreciate it.

So you agreed to ship out simultaneously 5 weeks ago but you only sent your end out a week and a half ago? That doesn't excuse him not shipping out anything at all or maintaining no contact but I think you need to paint a clearer picture of what happened as he may have thought the trade was off since he also didn't receive anything for over 3 weeks after the agreement either. It also usually helps if you copy and paste ALL messages (both sent and recieved) IN ORDER with the date/time stamps from your message box to help the mods find out the sequence of events. I'm not sure if its a rule here to do that but I know it clears up alot of stuff on bartertown. Its rare that a multiyear, multithousand post user on dakka will try to scam someone or not hold up their end... rare but not impossible.

I will edit my post to clarify, I copied my post that I sent the mod from a few weeks ago and missed updating a couple words. To clarify, I sent the item out on the 16th of June.
