I play with Sternguard so I decided I would like to use a counts as Pedro Kantor for my Souldrinker army. I just got done with a 1000 point game and said what the hell, let's dig through some bits and figure out what I can build. So I found a finger pointing power fist, a number of purity seals and banners, a standard A pair of Command squad knee-pad legs, some scroll cases, a few termie bits, and a stormbolter from a dreadnought. I also found a pointing finger sargeant arm and in my chaos bits I clipped the ammo belt off of the heavy bolter. So I started assembling. I filed down the arm to make it flat on top and I trimmed and filed the storm bolter to do the same. I through a few purity seals on and attached the fancy stuff and low and behold a prety clean and standard Pedro Kantor minus all the Crimson Fist stuff. I am not sure if I have placed the Storm bolter and powerfist on the correct side, but if they are there and look decent... anyway take a look. I will be painting him within the next week and will post an update.

Looks great, and while on one hand he looks like a Plastic Marine, when you say that he's Pedro Kantor it immediately fits and works.

Now let's see him painted!

Also if I ever played SM Id abuse sternguard just because of how awesome they are. Easily my fav unit in that dex

I figure if I am gonna do this on the cheap at least I'll go through the steps of making it better, since the photo I have scraped all mold lines as well. Something I don't always do becasue I am too excited to paint and play.

I will be putting a good bit of effort into the paint job and standard. I'll Freehand the Souldrinker iconography like my avatar picture I figure.

I finally finished Painting up the conversion. the Standard came out pretty well i think. Take a Look!
